Final Broadside
I encountered several problems when planning out this project. The main issue was that the type I had access to was largely damaged or incomplete. The fonts I was planning to use for the main title and subhead (72pt/30pt Kabel Bold) did not have all the letters needed. That forced me to carve the title out of a linoleum block.
Linoleum Plates
The two images, title, and subhead were all carved by hand out of Essdee Softcut Linoleum. The carving were all inverted before carving so that they would have the correct orientation when printed.

The text was all handset in movable type and printed letterpress. The main body text is 16pt Futura Medium, with the caption in 12pt Futura Medium.
