Design is art with a purpose, however I strive to make designs that are perceived as art. As our society steadily moves away from printed media, things such as books and posters become less common and more associated with the past. The grey area between art and design is what fascinates me. 

Letterpress printing, bookbinding, and digital photography are my mediums of choice. This has led me to develop a kind of hobby in which I search for papers and fabrics to use in my work. These materials are oftentimes not intended to be used in such a manner, but I also find the process of converting the materials into a form that can be used enjoyable.
